Does anyone have a great barbeque side dish that I can use to impress?
I am just starting to see a guy and he invited me over for a BBQ with his sister and I think a few of his friends. I think he will be BBQ'ing lamb? Anyways, I want to bring over a side dish. I am just having a hard time deciding what to bring. Does anyone have a great recipe? Gourmet is fine, I know my way around the kitchen. I just want it to knock their socks off

I love to eat good barbeque & I've been around this country a lot southern part & it seems that the only good barbeque is in & around west Tn. We barbeque mostly pork ribs,shoulders whole hog for about 24 hrs over slow cooking flavored with hickory & mesquite wood until it falls off the bone or you can pull the bone out without distrubing the meat

Why does EVERY bar where I live serve barbeque,beans,cold slaw & pickled eggs?Am I living in the Twilight zone?
True I live in the rural south but they even serve it at the strip clubs. Man that's just nasty...plus so sad.God don't go there about the girls. I drive 2 hours away just to get a dance by a good looking woman. the women here look like horses and pigs.

Will a mustard barbeque sauce work with pork ribs?
I am putting pork ribs in the slow cooker for 8 hours tomorrow and I was curious if a mustard bbq sauce will go with pork ribs.The sauce will be homemade
Do you prefer ketchup or barbeque sauce on your cheeseburger ?
Personally I like to put ketchup on top and on the bottom I mix ketchup with mayonnaise and stir it pink. I also like just barbeque from time to time.

My birthday is coming up soon and I'm thinking about having a barbeque pool party. I have a couple of questions. If you can answer any, it would be helpful 1 My birthday marks the beginning of summer, so it will be kind of chilly to go in the pool. Should I wait a month after my birthday when school ends so it's warmer?2 If I decide it to have it without the pool, what other activities could we do in my backyard. I'm going to have somewhere between 10 40 people 3 I have a somewhat small pool it's pretty large, but not as big as a in ground pool is it okay to have 40 people come? Not all of them will be in the pool at the same rime, right?
