Are the Professor Layton puzzle games for DS similar to the ones in the game the 7th Guest?
I'm thinking of eventually getting a puzzle game for the DS, but it has been a long time since I've played any of that style. I really enjoyed playing through the 7th Guest many years ago. I was wondering if any of you knew if it was similar? I'm looking for a good puzzle game like that one and if you have any suggestions to any other puzzle games, feel free to comment. If you don't know about the 7th Guest, how are the Professor Layton games on their own?

Haunted castle puzzle game?
I played a game once,a long time ago can't remember the name. Does anybody know a puzzle game from " Big Fish Games" related to a haunted castle. I tried a few games but none of them are what I was looking for. The story was whit this haunted castle and some mirrors. At the beginning of the game you have a some kind of help from a magic fairy,you enter the castel. The story revolves around the mirrors inside. There some ghosts trapped inside those mirrors and I have to set them free. There is a curse upon the castle, each room that I enter I have to banish the cursed spirits. After the room is clear, it brightens up I can enter another one. So does anyone know the name of this wonderfull name ?

My girlfriend LOVES puzzle games, and I was going to buy her one for Val Day. I, personally, don't enjoy puzzle games at all, and have no idea which ones are good. Any suggestions?

Strategy Puzzle Games?
There where these puzzle games we did in school that consisted of several different columns and clues. The objective of the game was to figure out something such as what person had which color of shoes, and what color of shoestrings or something like that. Does anyone know what i'm talking about or where I could find some at online? Thanks

This one is simple I like puzzle games. I've playedTrace Memory, Hotel Dusk, Lost in Blue 1 and Touch Detective both . It doesn't really matter what other genre is attached to it, just as long as it isn't hardcore horror, or point and click... RPG is OK, but no action fighting please. I'd prefer it be on the DS. It can't just be puzzle after puzzle after puzzle, there has to be a story behind it. And yes, I've already looked into the Professor Layton games. They seem interesting, if not a tad bit too hard for me.Do you know of any other good puzzle games that I might be interested in? Shroom
